Mobile gaming is extremely competitive. There are millions of games on the App Store and thousands more every day. Surviving as an Indie studio seems impossible. In this talk, I will share concrete survival tactics we’ve used to grow Pictoword from 0 to 20 million users and a top word game on both iOS and Google Play. These include marketing tactics, development tactics and funding tactics.
