Scaling Multiplayer Games with Open Source

Awesome! You’ve built the next Overwatch! You have a game client and a dedicated game server ready to power game sessions,  but now you’ve got to write code to spin up game servers, fire up machines to run them, autoscale them, and so much more.

In this talk we will look at two open source projects, software containers with Docker, and orchestration of those containers with Kubernetes, that we will use to automate scaling our game servers and their supporting infrastructure.
