Building a Better Mission Giver in Borderlands 3

In the Borderlands franchise, players would often use a small inanimate Bounty Board to accept the majority of their side missions. In Borderlands 3, the development team sought to improve this mission giving experience by reinventing the Bounty Board to be a more modern, diegetic experience. This talk will walk through the prototyping and development process, including practical tips for designers, artists, and producers working in Unreal Engine 4.
